This policy (hereinafter, the “Privacy Policy”) describes the types of personal data that GPG Advisory Partners (hereinafter, “GPG” or “we”) collects from you via https://www.gpgadvisorypartners.com/ (hereinafter, the “Website”) and all our other communication channels. This includes our various social media profiles and your registration and participation in the various in-person or online events that we organize over time (collectively with the Website, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy applies to all personal data that Marval collects from you, directly or automatically, through or in connection with the Services. GPG Advisory Partners is located at Av. Córdoba 315, 1º, CABA, Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, Argentina and is responsible for processing your personal data. By using the Website, you are giving express, informed, voluntary and unequivocal consent to the processing of your personal data by GPG under the terms of this Privacy Policy. The Website is not directed at children under the age of 18. If you are under 18 years old, you must not use this Website or provide us with your personal data without express authorization and consent from your parents or legal guardians.
BY ACCESSING, LOGGING ON OR OTHERWISE USING THE WEBSITE, YOU CONFIRM THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, CONSENT TO AND AGREE TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY. We collect certain data, including personal data, which may relate to you as an individual. Personal data is data that can directly or indirectly identify you. Your privacy and the security of your data are very important to Marval. Therefore, we will only ask you for data that is necessary for the purposes for which it is processed. That data includes, among other things, the following:
(A) Data that you provide directly to us. Marval may collect and/or process personal data that you provide to us in connection with the Services, including the following:
(i) Identifiable data, such as your first and last name, nationality and date of birth; and personal identification documents or numbers, such as your National Identity Card (“DNI”) number. (ii) Contact data, such as your home address, e-mail address, and telephone number, both landline and cellphone. (iii) Employment data, such as data concerning your previous or current employment, organization to which you belong, position, job title, professional experience, information about trainings you have received, tests, and professional profiles. (iv) Academic data, such as data that allows us to know your professional status, including your schooling, educational background, specialization, level of studies, degrees, certificates, acknowledgements, recognitions, and professional credentials. (v) Electronic records, such as data that is obtained when you use the Services, including data that you provide to us or that relates to your use of the Services.
(B) Data that we collect automatically We also automatically collect personal data about you by using, for example, cookies and other technologies. While we do not use our own cookies, we do use third-party cookies through Google Analytics. Google Analytics is a web analytics tool from Google LLC that stores device and browser-related data, IP addresses and website or application activity data to measure and report statistics about user interactions on the Website and applications using Google Analytics. By using the Website, you consent to the processing of information about you by Google LLC and to Google LLC sharing this information with Marval. In addition, we automatically collect the following data:
(i) Data about the Services you use, such as what content you access, when you access it, what links you click on, and other actions you take when using the Services. (ii) Data about the devices from which you access the Website and/or our social media profiles, such as operating systems, browser types or versions, device settings and parameters, including device language, IP address, and device ID. (iii) Data about your location, such as imprecise location (location based on your IP address or data indicating a city or zip code) or more precise geolocation.
The data we collect may be used for the following purposes:
i. To provide the products and/or services offered on the Website to:
Identify you and contact you, for example, about upcoming activities by Marval that we believe may be of interest to you. These may include, among others, lectures, conferences, and/or webinars. Register you in our systems and create profiles to provide you with a better service and communicate with you as needed for the purposes of this Privacy Policy. Respond to your comments, complaints, and suggestions; and provide you with support.
ii. To improve our services, develop new services and provide you with a better experience:
To internally analyze your interests and behavior so as to offer you better services and products and to conduct statistical research. To provide you with services and functionalities that better meet your needs, and to customize our services to make your experience as pleasant as possible. To improve our initiatives and analyze what pages our users visited and what searches they carried out so that we can offer better content and articles, and personalize that content, how we present it, and how we serve our users.
iii. To fulfill our duties under the law and meet any requirements from competent authorities. iv. To send out general and marketing communications:
To carry out all types of promotional activities, including, among others, sending out newsletters, bulletins, direct messages, and/or brochures.
v. To evaluate you as a potential candidate if you have submitted your resume to us.
The data we collect may be shared with third-parties as described in this Privacy Policy:
(i) Service Providers. We share information with other companies that we hire to provide services to us or to perform outside services for us, at our direction, and in accordance with this Privacy Policy. These Service Providers access necessary data to provide the convened services and may not use that data for any purposes other than those convened with Marval. (ii) Government authorities. We share information with administrative and judicial authorities who, in the exercise of their jurisdiction, require information from Marval, our service providers and/or our business partners, even if there is no executive or judicial order or subpoena to that effect. These data requests may be served for the purposes of: (a) collaborating in the investigation and reporting of fraud, piracy, intellectual or industrial property violations or any other unlawful activity, as well as any activity or circumstance for which Marval and/or its users could be legally liable; (b) safeguarding a public interest, procuring or administering justice, recognizing, exercising or enforcing a right in a judicial or administrative proceeding, and/or resolving controversies; and (c) complying with any applicable law, regulation or legal provision, or any duly founded and motivated mandate by a competent authority. In addition, we also share information to: (a) protect and defend our rights or property; (b) protect the personal safety of our employees or agents, users of Marval products or services, or members of the public; and/or (c) protect the integrity of the online community that uses our services. (iii) Judicial, government and dispute resolution officials. We share information with authorities, amiable compositeurs, courts or dispute resolution entities for the purpose of resolving any disputes that may arise. Marval may also share your personal data with entities or third-parties where there are reasonable grounds to suspect that you may be attempting to or are committing a criminal offence or harming others. In the event that you disclose personal information through the use of our Services, communities, forums, events, chats, webinars, and messaging features or other social or interactive features, this information may be collected, used and disclosed by third-parties over whom Marval has no control or liability.
Collected data may be disclosed or transferred to third-parties for the purposes and in the manner set out in this Privacy Policy, and for the performance of any action framed within the relationship between GPG and you. Your personal data may be transferred to countries or jurisdictions that may not have the same data protection regulations as those that exist in Argentina; and, consequently, they may offer lesser protection, which you understand and consent to. When we transfer your personal data to other countries, we will protect it in the manner described in this document by implementing safeguards that ensure an adequate level of protection for data that is transferred outside of Argentina.
Collected data will be kept confidential and private. GPG will only use your data for the purposes and in the manner outlined in this Privacy Policy. GPG complies with personal data protection regulations and, in particular, with Law No. 25,326 and its complementary regulations such as, for example, Resolution No. 47/2018 (hereinafter, the “Personal Data Protection Regulations”). In order to ensure the security of the personal data you provide to GPG, we will apply to your data the same degree of diligence that we apply to safeguarding our own. However, you acknowledge that existing technical means of providing security are not failproof, and that even if all reasonable security precautions are taken, manipulation, destruction and/or loss of information are possible.
GPG presumes, and you warrant, that all the information you provide is accurate. Accordingly, GPG does not verify, nor does it assume any obligation to verify, the accuracy, validity, sufficiency, legality and authenticity of the data you provide. You assume the responsibility of keeping that information updated at all times. You may access, modify, delete and update your personal data at any time by contacting us as instructed below. You may access the data you have provided GPG, free of charge, at intervals of no less than six months, unless you can demonstrate a legitimate interest in accessing the data sooner, in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Data Protection Regulations. If your data is incorrect or you wish to update or delete it, we will correct, update and/or delete the data at your request free of charge. To exercise your rights of access, rectification, updating or deletion in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Data Protection Regulations, please send an e-mail to info@gpgadvisorypertners.com. In the email, please identify yourself and indicate which right you wish to exercise. The information you provide will be stored for as long as your relationship with GPG is in force and for as long as needed to fulfill the other legitimate purposes for which GPG is required to store your personal data. Your information will also be stored if required by applicable law, even after your relationship with GPG  has ended. THE AGENCY OF ACCESS TO PUBLIC INFORMATION, in its capacity as Supervisory Authority under Law No. 25,326, has the power to handle complaints and claims filed by individuals whose rights are affected by non-compliance with current personal data protection law.
The Website may contain links to other websites for your convenience and information. These websites may be operated by companies that are not affiliated with GPG. These linked websites usually have their own privacy policies or notices, which you should read if you visit them. We are not responsible for the content of any websites other than our own, nor are we responsible for your use of such websites or for their privacy practices.
GPG may modify or update this Privacy Policy at any time without notice to reflect changes in our personal data protection practices as required by applicable law, in particular the Personal Data Protection Regulation, or to reflect changes in our own policies. If material changes are made, these changes will be notified on the Website. Any changes to this Privacy Policy will be effective from the time of their publication.
